Brawijaya's Student Lost in the Seawaves

Two students of Universitas Brawijaya (UB) Malang was swept by the seawaves of Ngantep Beach, Malang, Sunday (19/01/2014). Luckily, one of them was saved, and another still in the search.

The beach is located in Gedangan Ngantep, Malang regency, or about 75 kilometers from the city center.

"The waves rolled. Others tried to help. Yet almost dragged anyway but were rescued. A missing victim is still in search," said Slamet Kasatpolairud Iptu Prayitno Malang Police confirmed on Sunday afternoon.

Slamet said, the victim came with a group of other students from Saturday (01/18/2014) yesterday afternoon. The delegation of eight motorcycle riding and stay with setting up a tent.

"They're a lot of activity on the beach with a play or a shower this morning," he said.

He revealed, one is missing victims Prima Utama Pangabean (21), which is registered as a student of the Faculty of Social Culture Culture.

Meanwhile, one still in weak condition when rescued his colleague named Dino (21).

Until this news was revealed, a dozen members of a joint SAR still conducting searches.
