Arsenal FC Challenge Indonesian Entrepreneurs



Jakarta-club's top Premier League, The Arsenal Football Club PLC sued local businessman. Arsenal odds are known in Central Jakarta Commercial Court in order to protect the cannon bearing the brand team.

Football club based in London is suing the cancellation of the Arsenal brand and emblem belongs to entrepreneurs in Indonesia, Surjit Kaur, Amarjit Singh Johal, and Manjit Singh Johal.

In the lawsuit at the Central Jakarta Commercial Court as quoted on Monday (11/25/2013), Arsenal FC's attorney general's office through the International Patent Ludiyanto, SH & Associates feel overwhelmed by the trademark registration Arsenal and drawing the third cannon by the local entrepreneurs in the Directorate General of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR DG).

Brands belong to three local businessmen is registered with No.. 542 063 and extended with No. agenda. R002012016824 to protect the goods in class 18, namely handbags, luggage, wallets, umbrellas, walking sticks, whips, harness and saddlery. Arsenal FC have also included the Directorate General of IPR as the second defendant.

Arsenal FC looked Surjit Kaur Cs registered trademark in bad faith, that is to piggyback on his Arsenal brand fame.

Arsenal is a company incorporated in England and Wales whose registered numbered 109 244. Arsenal since 1886 until now has made his name with large-scale promotion and constantly through various media both domestically and internationally.
